When it is fully opened, there is so much workspace. I was looking for something for my spare bedroom that I can fold away when I needed to put up an airbed for a guest, and this is perfect. There is tons of drawer space. My husband and I took just under 2 hours to assemble, start-to-finish. I felt the instructions were clear, and the difficulty was moderate. It was definitely helpful to have an extra person to help with the assembly, but I might have been able to manage by myself. The box was extremely heavy, so be careful of that. Other reviews I've seen for the other colors warned that the little bottle of glue wasn't enough, so I just grabbed an extra thing of wood glue so we could both work, so I can't say if it would have been enough or not. Overall, the desk is very sturdy. Half of the wheels lock, so moving around isn't a problem when you're working.
