The SINGER Brilliance, model 6180, is an electronic sewing machine with a lot to offer. Bought this little Singer machine and am having a blast! Once I figured out how to thread the machine (just follow the step by step directions on the actual sewing machine) spent over an hour trying out all the different stitches available... and every one of them worked really well. It adjusts the tension for each pattern on it's own, although you can make your own adjustments should you wish. This machine might not handle heavy duty industrial sewing, but for the home maker who wants to do some projects this is a great little light and portable machine.

My husband bought the Singer 6180 for me for Christmas. The electronics didn't work, so I returned it, and got another one. This one will not stich at all. The Singer Helpline is constantly busy. I am very unhappy with my experience with this machine. It's too bad, I have a 40's Singer, which was my grandmothers. It works, but only does a straight stich.
