Bought this for a friend of mine as a gift, she is 13 years and and VERY happy with the machine. The stitch options are great and the machine is easy to use. So far we have had no issues with tension, loading or stitching. I love my singer and was proud to have the opportunity to purchase her first! I cannot wait for my daughters to get older so I can do the same for them. Singer has given my no problems and since I cannot afford a Janome or Husqvarna I am very pleased with the functionality and the price of Singer.
