You will not be disappointed with this machine. It is the prefect beginners sewing machine because it has basic sewing features down prefectly with its internal metal construction. This is unheard of in this price range! Kenmore does not make its own sewing machines which they leave this task to Janome. Janome is one of the best names in sewing, however the great thing about the Kenmore machines is most of their line is redressed Janome machines that are about 20-25% cheaper. You will not be disappointed.
