Does more than I needed and so is taking a little while to learn but very plesed. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Kenmore Sewing Machine 42 Stitch I used to think Singer made the only acceptable sewing machines, until I got this one. It's a good price and easy to maneuver once you read the manual. It came with several needles of different sizes, at least one extra bobbin, and a couple of other notions. Using the materials provided, as well as my own thread of course, I've been able to sew straight lines and zigzags on various kinds of fabrics. According to the book, the machine can handle any weight of fabric, from organza to denim and even upholstery.
I did not know how to sew on my own until I got this machine. I read the manual and tested out what it said to do, and voila! I am now good at sewing. I'm glad this machine was able to provide me that confidence. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kenmore Sewing Machine 42 Stitch My grandmother passed down a Kenmore sewing machine to me when I was 14. It recently stopped working when I turned 22 and I'm not quite sure how long my grandmother had it but obviously for a while. This new machine works just as well if not better then the last and I will never by anything other sewing machine from any other company. |
