Product Review

Juki TL-98QE's 1-needle Lockstitch Machine is great for Quilting and Home Decor. A powerful machine with 1500 Stitches Per Minute! The arm & bed of the TL-98QE is constructed of aluminum die-casting. Body lowers vibration while sewing and ensures high quality stitching. This portable, is lightweight and easy to transport. Includes: a 1/4 quilting foot for free motion quilting & free-hand embroidery. When quilting, dropping the feed dogs allow you to sew curved stitches with ease, which can be raised & lowered with a switch. Knee lift lever allows you to lift/lower the presser foot without using your hands. The presser foot can be raised as high as 12mm, so that heavy weight materials or piecing materials are easily handled in and out of the sewing area. When you stop sewing, through stop position, machine will come to an accurate stop, needle down. When the button is pressed continuously, the machine sews stitch by stitch at slow speed. Speed contol mechanism, operated by microcomputer, allows machine to sew at low speeds. Providing accurate feed and perfect stitching when sewing havy weight fabrics, quilting and multiple layers of materials. Warranty: Limited 5 Years Mechanical, Limited 2 Years Electrical .

This review is from: Juki TL98QE Long-arm Sewing & Quilting Machine (Kitchen)
The Juki is a solid little industrial machine with all metal parts. It is easy to use and very fast and strong. It only does a straight stitch (nope, not even a zig) but comes standard with several handy feet, including a hopping quilting foot - perfect for free-motion designs. I got this one to use on a quilting frame, and kept my beloved 1980s Pfaff for piecing, but if you need a nice little mid-arm, the Juki is an excellent choice.
