I bought this bag because it matches the sewing machine trolley I already have. Even though the trolley is great if I want to transport my machine and do not have to walk far with it I will use this as it is smaller. I will also use this to transport extra fabric and accessories for my away from home projects.

I have had hard covers for machines and they never seem to work well. This bag is big and sturdy and allows me to put all my cords and such into the front pocket. Thus I avoid the dreaded equipment explosions that used to happen when I used my old hard cover.
