I use a very old model Singer and it screws on just fine. The guide doesn't have measurements on it and is just held in place by friction, so a rough jostle can slip it out of position. This is a very nice foot for doing straight line quilting, when you need to space your lines evenly from each other. As long as you have something to glide the guide on, this foot really lets you create superior results. I particularly like this foot when you need to interrupt your stitches around a design which does not have the background quilting. With this foot you can pickup with a perfect precision on the other side of the design. It is bulky foot so I don't use it for everthing. I use it only in situation like described above when you need that type of precision. Two little plastic pieces broke off from the foot. The company stood behind their product and replaced the defective foot with a new one. Can't ask for better service than that. They now have a 5 star rating from me. |
