At Amazon, I discovered the blind hem presser foot which seemed to me to serve a useful dual purpose: yes, create a blind hem for esthetic reasons but, more importantly, create a blind hem for the sewing impaired, your humble servant.

At ten dollars this Blind Hem Sewing Foot was the best price I could find. Hancock Fabrics sold the same foot for twenty-five dollars and Hobby Lobby, Wal-mart and Target did not sell it at all.
