With the economy the way it is, I tried to save some money. I purchased this little desk top sewing machine from a Korean company. It didn't work from the moment I plugged it in. I broke 2 needles in a matter of minutes. The piston that the needle attaches to must have been bent. The needles kept hitting the dogfeed plate and breaking. I am very disappointed. I actually purchased a machine that looks exactly the same, but made by Singer. It works just fine. I checked and it is NOT manufactured by the same company. I spent $50 on the new machine. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for!
