Coats & Clark Invisible Zipper Foot For C&C Article F84 N407; 6 Items/Order

I used this foot with a Janome, Model #344 Limited Edition, low shank, sewing machine. There is absolutely NO space between the needle bar and the foot connectors that attach to the presser bar. Modified the white plastic piece (that connects the foot to the red plastic piece that connects to the presser bar) but it didn't help enough, still not enough room. Also, the round plastic bar came out of the foot itself and wouldn't stay there while sewing, even though it snapped back in place. What stitches I was able to make were not where they needed to be because the round bar wouldn't stay in the foot. Disappointing to say the least.

Buy an invisible zipper foot that goes with your machine and save yourself the frustration and money, even though Coats & Clark has printed on their zipper packaging, "Due to the smaller size of our coil you must use Coats Invisible Zipper Foot, article N407, to insure a proper installation."
