The Brother SM6500PRW Computerized Sewing Machine is fashionable sewing for the designer in you! This Limited Edition Project Runway sewing machine allows you to express your creativity with 60 built in stitches including Utility, Decorative and Heirloom stitches. There are 7 styles of one-step auto-size buttonholes as well. You simply place your button in the specially designed buttonhole foot and the machine will sew the correct size buttonhole for you. The SM6500PRW has a built in LCD screen for easy push button stitch selection. This model also comes with a built-in automatic needle threading system and Brother's Quick-Set bobbin system. You can use the machine with the included foot control and also sew without the foot control using the stop/start feature and variable sewing speed control. The SM6500PRW has an exceptional fabric feed system which gives you the flexibility to sew on almost any fabric. This full featured machine also comes with a wide variety of accessories including 8 sewing/presser feet, a walking foot for quilting, free motion quilting foot, quilt guide and an oversized table for quilting or sewing on large projects. This machine is also utra lightweight and portable to take on the go. Instructions are bilingual in English and Spanish

My wife has never really done much sewing but found this to be a sewing machine that is extremely easy to use with more capability than she'll probably ever use. It's also very light weight in comparison to her previous models, making it easier to transport. Well I sew all the time and have for the past fifty years. Most of what I do now is quilting and that's the reason I bought this machine. I wanted a light weight sewing machine that I could take traveling. I've been using this machine for the past few days doing some quilting on it and I must say I'm very pleased with it. I think this is a very good purchase price and it's just what I expected from the Brother Co. I have two other very expensive machines and this one does a fantastic job for the money.
