This foot is wonderful for sewing on beading, pearls and sequins! And yes, it is plastic as the DESCRIPTION CLEARLY STATES. That's what "Clear plastic for visibility from all angles" means!!!!! I guess some people like to give bad reviews because they don't want to bother reading descriptions.

this is a wonderful product to have I have made a suite with pearls it came out wounderful every seamtress should on of these and it very easy to put on the machine. Delivery was right on time and the price was great.

I guess the foot will work find but I paid for the foot that was pictured. It appears to be a metal foot. What I got was a plastic foot. I wasn't impressed. I assume it will do the job but question the longevity.
I probably would have still purchased it had I know is was plastic but at least then I would have known what I was purchasing.
