Brother 22-Stitch Sewing Machine LS 30 Crafts and Quilting

I for once had no prior sewing teachings. I quickly learned to use this machine and it has made many beautiful projects. I recommend the Brother LS-30 to anyone wanting to learn to sew. Easy to thread, although it's reburbish I have no complaints.

I lost the darning plate to this machine. Not even company seems to sell it anymore. The machine is fine, just don't lose any parts.

I really love this simple machine. I like to use small seam allowance so the needle position selector is really nice! I am a quilter so some projects are difficult for this machine because there is no way to lower the feed dogs. It is a simple machine, great for beginnners. It is easy to wind bobbins and to thread the machine. The pedal makes it a little difficult because when you try to push it down gently to make the machine go slowly, it makes a noise and doesn't go. It is a great value for the price. I would recommend this machine for children who are starting to sew. I have only ever broken one needle on it and I've been sewing on it for a few years. If you are looking for a good quilting machine, look elsewhere.
