Brother ELS Embroidery Lettering Monogramming Software

I was reluctant to buy this item based on price and I wish I hadn't. I am having a VERY hard time figuring out what it can do and it seems like it can't do much. In addition, you can not buy monograms on line and download them to it. It's a fair program just NOT worth the money.

I ordered this item to use with my embroidery machine to Monogram.. I wasn't really interested in the fonts it had, but those seem to be the only thing I really got out of the lettering software. None of the preloaded monogram fonts are something that I would actually use. This item was definitely not what I was looking for but did offer me more fonts than I have stored on my LB6800 Project Runway machine. It is a neat software program, but not super easy to use.

I'm REALLY glad I got this software for free when I purchased my machine. Had I paid for it, I'd be pretty unhappy. I only use it to shrink fonts down to a size small enough that I can use them on my products, and the fonts are not all that great. There's no support/literature to speak of, so unless you already know how to use all the settings and stitch types/lengths/etc, you'll be left wondering what most of it is. And, if you're like me and clean out your pc or get new ones frequently, you'll be out of luck with only two activations. I put it on my laptop, and shortly after switched to a pc, which about a year later died and I had to replace it. Well, now trying to install it on my new pc, it will not let me because I had it installed on 2 previous computers. So after a long call to Brother's customer service, I have to wait another 2-3 days for them to contact the software company, request a new key, and wait for them to send it to me.
